IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DRI Energy, provider of turnkey solar installation services to commercial building owners and residential homebuilders, today announced the completion of solar installations on Target’s first two stores in Hawaii. Both the Honolulu West and Kapolei stores were outfitted with 143kW DC systems, fully integrated with the single ply roof system installed by DRI Commercial, the commercial roofing subsidiary of DRI Companies.
A third installation at the Target store on the Big Island is scheduled to be completed in early April.
DRI Energy is also a wholly owned subsidiary of DRI Companies, a 30-year-old construction firm specializing in roofing and renewable energy installations. DRI Companies’ clients include Alcoa, Boeing, California Steel Industries, Costco, Home Depot, Longs Drugs, Macy’s, Rite Aid, the United States Navy and many others.

Both Target stores celebrated their grand openings on March 8, 2009.
