U.S. Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz Visits China Sunergy's Nanjing Facilities

NANJING, China, April 9 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China Sunergy Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: CSUN), a specialized solar cell manufacturer based in Nanjing, China, announced that a 12-person delegation, including U.S. Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz, visited China Sunergy's headquarters on April 9, 2009. The delegation held conversations with senior management and examined the Company's production facilities to learn more about China Sunergy's product offerings and capabilities.

Representative Ortiz, who has a reputation as being a fair-minded advocate able to work effectively with both Republicans and Democrats to craft policy, was elected to Congress in 1982 and has since served the 27th District of Texas.
