EVSO and EDGe Advance Together with City of Brookshire, Texas Meeting

THE WOODLANDS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Evolution Solar (PinkSheets: EVSO) announced today that the Company is deliberately moving forward with its new energy management consultant EDGe (Energy Diversity Group) and has, as their first order of business, completed a successful meeting with the City of Brookshire, Texas. EVSO’s president and EDGe’s president met with the Mayor of Brookshire and his Public Works Department head to discuss energy usage and perform consumption analysis for the City.   

“We want to take a look at ways to save money on our electrical consumption and encourage our residents and business' to do the same," said Alex Hixon, head of Public Works for the City of Brookshire.

EVSO inked an LOI last month with EDGe for them to act as an energy management consultant for selected EVSO projects. EDGe is a full-service energy management consultancy that concentrates on helping clients develop and execute cost-effective energy management strategies.

According to P.J. Broussard, President of EDGe "Determining the amount of energy used and how much the city can potentially save with the installation of renewable energy sources is critical."

Evolution Solar is currently building a solar demonstration site in partnership with Texas Southern University, to be located at the University’s Houston Campus. Evolution Solar is also developing a solar demonstration project with the City of Brookshire, Texas. These projects should help Evolution Solar acquire new business in a sector that is growing to compete in the energy industry, which includes Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE), Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NASDAQ: CLNE), Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (NYSE: KMP) and EOG Resources Inc. (NYSE: EOG).
