Pro-Tech Energy Solutions Serves Up Savings With Solar Installation at the New Shrewsbury Racquet Club

BRANCHBURG, N.J. and TINTON FALLS, N.J., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Through a partnership with Pro-Tech Energy Solutions LLC, a self-funded turnkey energy services company, the New Shrewsbury Racquet Club (NSRC) in Tinton Falls, N.J. was able to install a 281.06kW photovoltaic solar array estimated to generate $49,000 in annual savings.

"This is a great opportunity for the NSRC to take advantage of the large roof of the tennis facility and do our part to reduce the Club's carbon footprint as part of an overall green initiative," said Rich Maizel, Managing Director of New Shrewsbury Racquet Club.  "In September, 1,200 solar panels were installed on a new steel roof, making NSRC the first tennis club in N.J. to be a major green energy producer, generating 100 percent of its electric energy from solar. Our only remaining costs are delivery charges at night from the utility company. This really is an exciting project, and we are eager to see the system in operation."   

Together with Englert Inc., Pro-Tech's preferred vendor for roofing design and installation, the partners installed a new steel roof to withstand the weight of the solar panels. The combined roofing and solar installation project, took only one month from start to finish.
