Crider Americas Solar Completes Multi-Story Parking Deck Solar Canopies

LOS ANGELES, May 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Crider Americas Solar, a national leader in design, manufacture, and installation of solar carports and canopies for general contractors, EPC's, integrators and developers, recently successfully designed, engineered, manufactured, and installed three solar canopies (279 kW) on a multi-level parking deck in Los Angeles, California. The canopies featured a 33' Double Stall Webbed Truss. The three arrays covered 138 parking spaces. Two arrays measured 32'6" x 252' with (9) 28' bays, where each bay consisted of (6) parking spaces for a total of 54 parking spaces per canopy. One array measured 32'6" x 140' with (5) 28' bays, where each bay consisted of (6) parking spaces for a total of 30 parking spaces. All structures were hot dipped galvanized before they were field painted. Permits for this project were pulled in mid-September and canopy work was complete in early November.
