Eltek to Exhibit THEIA™ HE-t Solar Inverter at Solar Power International 2012

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eltek, the world leader in high efficiency power systems for telecommunications, industrial applications, and renewable energy projects, today announced plans to showcase its extended lineup of award-winning THEIA HE-t solar inverter products at Solar Power International 2012, Sept. 10-13, in Orlando, Florida.

Eltek will be in booth 1771 and will have solar experts on hand to help attendees learn more about the company's high efficiency solar inverter and power conversion technology. On display will be Eltek’s THEIA HE-t series, which includes the 2.0 kW, 2.9 kW, 3.8 kW and 4.4 kW models.

The inverter, already certified for use in Asian and European markets, has also achieved Underwriters Laboratories (UL) product safety certification, qualifying the inverters for sale in the North American solar market. It is also SunSpec Alliance certified for interoperability.

Solar Power International (SPI) is North America's premier business-to-business event for professionals in solar energy and related fields. The show, expected to attract thousands of solar industry professionals from more than 100 countries, will feature a grand exhibition hall, as well as conference sessions, workshops and solar idea swaps where experts will discuss and analyze new solar products, markets, opportunities, challenges, and strategies for industry growth.

The THEIA HE-t has won multiple design and performance awards for Eltek including the prestigious “red dot award: product design 2012,” the Norwegian Design Council Award for design excellence, and an “A-rating” for performance from PHOTON International Solar Magazine.

“The recent achievement of UL certification for our THEIA isolated inverters enables us to offer Eltek’s solar products in the North American marketplace,” said David Leal, Eltek’s North American vice president of sales. “Our customers are really excited about this, and SPI will be a very good venue for us to demonstrate firsthand the benefits of these solar products.”
